Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I have to tell you that I just had the most wonderful time with my boys! The first half of the day involved a lot of snuggling in bed while mama sipped coffee and didn’t lift a finger…. As mom’s we get to do this AT LEAST this one day a year, right?!? It was so nice to slow down from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy being together and having some good laughs! We had a delicious brunch up the street at our yacht club, Epping Forest, and then settled in to watch the end of The Players Championship with a glass of vino!
[Sappy mom moment ALERT] I am so thankful that I was put on this earth to be the mom of these two little precious angels! Although not the easiest job at times, it is the most rewarding and I wouldn’t miss a minute of getting to lead these sweet boys through this beautiful life! I try my very best to be loving and a role model to them in everything I do, each day. And I hope that one day they will have the gift of loving their own kids the way I love them. Being a mom is really the most amazing gift that anyone can ever be given. I know all mother’s out there would agree!
I had a lot of questions yesterday about the boy’s Dori PJ’s so thought I would throw together a quick post about some PJs that I’m loving right now! I feel like dressing little boys can be hard sometimes. We’ve always tried to find a good balance between letting them look cute and having them look like little men! Girl clothes are so easy and to be honest, most the little girls clothes out there, I would buy for myself! From the start my husband has been the real stylist for our boys, which he never likes to admit, but he’s groomed them into clean cut little gentleman and I absolutely love him for it!
One of my best friends, Kasey, actually bought these jams for the boys a little over a year ago from the Disney collection at Gap Kids… How they fit the boys still, I have NO CLUE! But they are still kicking! Gap is still making some adorable pajamas as part of this collection, but not these specifically so I wanted to pull some others that I am absolutely loving right now! Also, the boys gave me this floor length, monogrammed spa robe as my Mother’s Day gift and I seriously never want to take it off. Daniel knows that I’m obsessed with spa robes every time that we travel to a nice hotel, so this was the PERFECT gift! I was so surprised! Linking it here!
I hope everyone had an amazing Mother’s Day…. now I guess its time to start thinking about Dad’s Day! I guess they deserve some credit too 😉
