Just was in New York for a hot minute, picking out new styes for The White Magnolia Bridal Collection & Malindy Elene Bridal! It was 40 degrees and raining so me and the team were freezing our tails off, but it finally cleared up our last day there so we able to enjoy the city for just a few hours before we had to head home.
Today, I’m sharing my Bridal Market style with everyone! One thing with Bridal Market, is that you are always on the go hopping from appointment to appointment and never really get a chance to slow down. Also, during the two months that I go to Bridal Market (April & October), the weather can be ALL over the place, so being able to wrap and peel is essential. I’m always a huge fan of leggings, because let’s be honest, I’m a mom of two and spandex is my best friend… ALWAYS! I’ve been really into these leggings created by one of my favorite girl bosses, Sara Blakely, at Spanx. High waistband leggings are my jam…. But I also have been totally loving this BB Dakota faux leather jacket that I picked up last fall. Its neutral and goes with almost everything in my closet. Plus its light weight so I can take it off and throw it in my purse easily when I don’t need it.
I usually always have to add a little glam to every outfit that I put on, so I paired these earrings with this simple and chic ensemble to give it a little glitz! I always love a good Art Deco style pair of earrings, and my friends at BaubleBar never fail to deliver 🙂
We typically stay at a different hotel every market (because we love a good PriceLine deal) so this market, we ended up at The Roger Hotel. Its an adorable boutique hotel in mid-town Manhattan on Madison Avenue with beautiful exposed brick coupled with modern chic design. We loved our stay there and I’m hoping to venture back there at some point with the hubs for a non-work NYC trip! After eight years of going to Bridal Market, this was definitely my favorite hotel and location that we have stayed in!
And of course my #1 Bridal Market survival item… Coffee…. lots of coffee!
